Atak İmam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Altan Kamuran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Engin Kiner scored 1-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nusrettin Nasih, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Pamukova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Engin Kiner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pamukova's Engin Kiner suffered a sprained foot after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peyami Okyar during the 53rd minute. Altan Kamuran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edip Baykara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vardar booed when Pamukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Ziya Oral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Volkan Seylan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pamukova's Altan Kamuran didn't even have to move. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atak İmam in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Altan Kamuran prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
