Nusrettin Nasih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abidin Kamer in the 17th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Müjdat Akkın in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nusrettin Nasih saved Vardar from getting behind. Müjdat Akkın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Vardar's Edip Baykara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 28 played minutes Havsa got a freekick which was hit by Müjdat Akkın. 29 minutes into the game, Mahir Uygu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vardar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Havsa the free kick. Atak İmam took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamit Durusoy.
