After 3 played minutes Vardar got a freekick which was hit by Peyami Okyar. 8 minutes into the game, Fetih Samih was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vardar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pamukova the free kick. After 8 played minutes Vardar got a freekick which was hit by Fetih Samih. Nusrettin Nasih stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Engin Kiner's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Edip Baykara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Altan Kamuran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Vardar booed when Pamukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulkerim Çubukcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Edip Baykara made a precise shot to the right of Altan Kamuran. Pamukova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Pamukova's Tacettin Bozdağ got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Altan Kamuran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edip Baykara in the 25th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Edip Baykara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Altan Kamuran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 31st minute of the match Peyami Okyar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Altan Kamuran skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edip Baykara in the 32nd minute of play forced Pamukova's goalkeeper Altan Kamuran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edip Baykara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edip Baykara made a kick off. Nusrettin Nasih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Engin Kiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Aras Canfeda kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Mehmet Akif Ayvazoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pamukova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vardar the free kick. In the 65th minute, Mehmet Akif Ayvazoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Pamukova getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Mehmet Akif Ayvazoğlu hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Pamukova's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Atak İmam fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Edip Baykara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atak İmam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Altan Kamuran made a huge save. Atak İmam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Altan Kamuran having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Atak İmam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Altan Kamuran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Atak İmam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Altan Kamuran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Altan Kamuran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edip Baykara in the 92nd minute of the match. Edip Baykara might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Altan Kamuran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edip Baykara ran back to his position shaking his head. Edip Baykara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Altan Kamuran having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Vardar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pamukova.
