Ramiz Cezri charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiz Cezri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Arhavi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiz Cezri to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peyami Hekimoğlu in the 11th minute of play forced Arhavi's goalkeeper Mustafa Barış Necdet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Barış Necdet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyami Hekimoğlu in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in MerzifonSpor's zone, Harun Sönmezalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koray Dokuzoğlu came out of the goal and Harun Sönmezalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Ahmet Reha Geylanoğullarından managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arhavi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Reha Geylanoğullarından was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Koray Dokuzoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, MerzifonSpor's Murat Selim Onural got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Ramiz Cezri had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Göksun Safa kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hüsamettin Özel got free with Mustafa Barış Necdet in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th match minute, Arhavi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harun Sönmezalp to maneuver through the defense. Peyami Hekimoğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Mustafa Barış Necdet skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to MerzifonSpor getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peyami Hekimoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Barış Necdet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüsamettin Özel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arhavi's Mustafa Barış Necdet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüsamettin Özel in the 68th minute of play. Bahadır Davutoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Koray Dokuzoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, Ahmet Reha Geylanoğullarından managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arhavi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Reha Geylanoğullarından was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Koray Dokuzoğlu was a little too slow when Harun Sönmezalp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alperen İnceman during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. MerzifonSpor's Murat Selim Onural couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Arhavi. In the 84th minute, Peyami Hekimoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mustafa Barış Necdet was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 93rd minute, Harun Sönmezalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MerzifonSpor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arhavi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
