When Demirhan Seyfeddin came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Gelibolu FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demirhan Seyfeddin couldn't finish the play. When Gelibolu FK's Mahir İldeniz in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mahir İldeniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Emirşah Bengisoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emirşah Bengisoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Mesut Bilgetay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72ndth minute of the game Demirhan Seyfeddin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ankaragücü's Bedih Urgun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 74 played minutes Ankaragücü got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Ediz Yesari. Gelibolu FK's Olcay Orkun Tekiner pulled a muscle in his back after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Gelibolu FK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Demirhan Seyfeddin hit a great ball. If Mahir İldeniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emirşah Bengisoy might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mesut Bilgetay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emirşah Bengisoy ran back to his position shaking his head. Mahir İldeniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute.
