Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Peyami Hekimoğlu took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Atahan Onursev fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MerzifonSpor's protests and gave Atahan Onursev a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MerzifonSpor's Atahan Onursev got a free kick in the 4th minute. Feyyaz Vecid kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Cal's goal looked a bit too open when Hüsamettin Özel came free, but Halil İbrahim Ongun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match Feyyaz Vecid shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Halil İbrahim Ongun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Peyami Hekimoğlu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cal's Halil İbrahim Ongun. Halil İbrahim Ongun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Atahan Tulun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koray Dokuzoğlu having to interfere. Koray Dokuzoğlu stood somewhat misplaced when Ömer Mertel came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 29 minute. Cal's Şehzade Cansun suffered a sore thigh after 32 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ali Vedat Talayhan charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Vedat Talayhan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to MerzifonSpor getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ali Vedat Talayhan hit a great ball. Atahan Tulun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ömer Mertel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Göksun Safa during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 minutes of play, Cal's Ömer Mertel made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Koray Dokuzoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ömer Mertel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmet Seyfi Özer struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Koray Dokuzoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cal. Ali Vedat Talayhan was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ali Vedat Talayhan hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Ömer Mertel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 49th playminute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ömer Mertel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Koray Dokuzoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kerem Yağın, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Ömer Mertel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Koray Dokuzoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ömer Mertel struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Koray Dokuzoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cal. When Göksun Safa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. The supporters of Cal booed when MerzifonSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göksun Safa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Koray Dokuzoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Mertel in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Afşar Tükel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MerzifonSpor the free kick. Koray Dokuzoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Mertel in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Ali Kağan Tancan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ömer Mertel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 played minutes MerzifonSpor got a freekick which was hit by Gökhan Topçam. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Mertel in the 80th minute of play forced MerzifonSpor's goalkeeper Koray Dokuzoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MerzifonSpor's Koray Dokuzoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atahan Tulun in the 81st minute of play. Koray Dokuzoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ömer Mertel went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 89th minute Kerem Yağın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koray Dokuzoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koray Dokuzoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atahan Tulun, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in MerzifonSpor's zone, Atahan Tulun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koray Dokuzoğlu came out of the goal and Atahan Tulun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 97 minutes of play, Cal's Kerem Yağın made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Koray Dokuzoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Atahan Tulun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 101st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
