Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cüneyd Taykoç got the match started through his kick off. If Burhan Sipahi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Cengiz Eryildiz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Dereli defense, Burhan Sipahi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cengiz Eryildiz. The Dereli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cengiz Eryildiz should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Dereli's goal looked a bit too open when Burhan Sipahi came free, but Cengiz Eryildiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Cüneyd Taykoç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Altay Zikri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sefa Sabeddin fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dereli's protests and gave Sefa Sabeddin a yellow card for diving instead. Sefa Sabeddin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dereli's zone, Kutlay Arıhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cengiz Eryildiz came out of the goal and Kutlay Arıhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hürkan Reşan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yavuz Acartürk charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yavuz Acartürk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Dereli got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Acartürk. After a defensive mix-up in Kadiköy's zone, Cüneyd Taykoç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Altay Zikri came out of the goal and Cüneyd Taykoç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Altay Zikri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hürkan Reşan in the 37th minute of play. If Hürkan Reşan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kutlay Arıhan came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Kadiköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kutlay Arıhan couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Burhan Sipahi was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cüneyd Taykoç in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Altay Zikri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Kadiköy's Altay Zikri got control of the ball when Hürkan Reşan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hürkan Reşan struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Altay Zikri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dereli. Cüneyd Taykoç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Altay Zikri having to interfere. Altay Zikri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hürkan Reşan went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Cüneyd Taykoç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Burhan Sipahi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes, Ahmet Necdet Eryiğit mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kadiköy and the Dereli players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmet Necdet Eryiğit kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Cüneyd Taykoç who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kadiköy's Altay Zikri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kutlay Arıhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Cengiz Eryildiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hürkan Reşan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Altay Zikri having to interfere. When Kadiköy's Kutlay Arıhan in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dereli's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Dereli's Hakkı Atılay got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Hürkan Reşan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dereli's supporters rose to their feet, but Hürkan Reşan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Altay Zikri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dereli's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
