Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Temel Yörük made the kick off which started today's match. If Temel Yörük had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malatyaspor's Uğuralp Reşit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Malatyaspor from getting a goal against them. Malatyaspor's Uğuralp Reşit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ataman Oğuztüzün in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dörtyol's zone, Temel Yörük stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demiralp Tanfer came out of the goal and Temel Yörük tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Malatyaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Ataman Oğuztüzün came free, but Uğuralp Reşit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atalan Yamaner in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uğuralp Reşit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute Ataman Oğuztüzün shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uğuralp Reşit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Dörtyol were awarded a corner. Okan Üstüner went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Atalan Yamaner heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 35 minutes into the match, Malatyaspor's goalkeeper Uğuralp Reşit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hakkı Deniz Erdemalp. Ataman Oğuztüzün's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uğuralp Reşit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Hakkı Deniz Erdemalp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ataman Oğuztüzün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Uğuralp Reşit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 40 in the game by Hakkı Deniz Erdemalp from a close distance when the talented Uğuralp Reşit managed to make a qualified save. Malatyaspor's players were relieved. Ataman Oğuztüzün struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Uğuralp Reşit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dörtyol. Thanks to some nice moves Hakkı Deniz Erdemalp could shoot a difficult shot in the 48th minute, which Uğuralp Reşit however easily saved by the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Uğuralp Reşit was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Dörtyol players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
