Ahmet Seyfi Talip came out of the goal and Mustafa Kemal Kurtuluş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mustafa Kemal Kurtuluş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuşa Futbol Kulübü's Aykan İlseven got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Yuşa Futbol Kulübü's zone, Yavuz Selimhan Ergökmen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Seyfi Talip came out of the goal and Yavuz Selimhan Ergökmen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Seyfi Talip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Kemal Kurtuluş in the 42nd minute of the match. Ahmet Seyfi Talip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erim Ziyaettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Hadi Özerhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aykan İlseven's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

63 minutes into the match, Artvin's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Rıza Erbaş came free, but Hadi Özerhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aykan İlseven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aykan İlseven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hadi Özerhan having to interfere. Mustafa Kemal Kurtuluş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. After 85 played minutes Artvin got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Selimhan Ergökmen. After having played for 89 minutes, Erim Ziyaettin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Artvin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erim Ziyaettin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mustafa Kemal Kurtuluş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Seyfi Talip having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Artvin failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
