In the 5th minute, Batı Nazir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kizilören fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Cabbar Cansal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garip Aşık. Galatasaray pilot's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cabbar Cansal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Aziz Erakıncı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yılmaz Orguntay having to interfere. After some careless play in the Galatasaray pilot defense, Cabbar Cansal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garip Aşık. The Galatasaray pilot fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garip Aşık should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Erhan Öznur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Garip Aşık was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 30 minutes into the match, Galatasaray pilot's Bayezit Sidar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yılmaz Orguntay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bayezit Sidar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yılmaz Orguntay having to interfere. Galatasaray pilot's Garip Aşık played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batı Nazir in the 37th minute of play. Garip Aşık took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sermet Elçin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Sermet Elçin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kizilören fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 47th minute Cabbar Cansal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garip Aşık saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Galatasaray pilot players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kizilören were winning 1-5.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Sermet Elçin got free with Garip Aşık in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Batı Nazir could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Garip Aşık however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Batı Nazir kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Garip Aşık. That made the score 1-6 in the 57 minute of play. Sertaç Muhtar charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sertaç Muhtar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kizilören getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Sertaç Muhtar hit a great ball. Reşat Tankut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Batı Nazir got free with Garip Aşık in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cabbar Cansal in the 75th minute of play forced Galatasaray pilot's goalkeeper Garip Aşık to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garip Aşık came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Kizilören's Cabbar Cansal. But to his dismay, Cabbar Cansal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. In the 81st match minute, Galatasaray pilot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ertuğrul Akçan to maneuver through the defense. Erhan Öznur received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Garip Aşık came out and tried to block the shot, but Erhan Öznur slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 84th minute. Batı Nazir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Garip Aşık made a huge save. If Meriç Teoman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galatasaray pilot's Garip Aşık played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erhan Öznur in the 93rd minute of play. Garip Aşık showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cabbar Cansal, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Kizilören left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Galatasaray pilot.
