Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ali Güralp Rıdvan kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cem Cire in the 6th minute of play forced Kastamonuspor 1966's goalkeeper Tibet İlsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hayri Güleryüz struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Tibet İlsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mecidiyeköy FK. When Cem Cire came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Mecidiyeköy FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cem Cire couldn't finish the play. Nuralp Özbilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Güralp Rıdvan, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Tayfur Mukerrem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mecidiyeköy FK's Nuralp Özbilen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th match minute, Mecidiyeköy FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Numan Okboğa to maneuver through the defense. Nuralp Özbilen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berke İlkay in the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kastamonuspor 1966's zone, Hayri Güleryüz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tibet İlsu came out of the goal and Hayri Güleryüz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 25 minutes of play, Kastamonuspor 1966's Ali Güralp Rıdvan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuralp Özbilen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Mecidiyeköy FK's goal looked a bit too open when Tayfur Mukerrem came free, but Nuralp Özbilen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Ali Güralp Rıdvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuralp Özbilen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mecidiyeköy FK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cem Cire hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes Mecidiyeköy FK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Numan Okboğa. Nuralp Özbilen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Güralp Rıdvan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kastamonuspor 1966's goalkeeper Tibet İlsu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hazım Işıner fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kastamonuspor 1966's protests and gave Hazım Işıner a yellow card for diving instead. Hazım Işıner kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Tibet İlsu came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Mecidiyeköy FK's Hayri Güleryüz. But to his dismay, Hayri Güleryüz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cem Cire made a kick off. Cem Cire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibet İlsu having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berke İlkay during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kastamonuspor 1966's Berke İlkay got a free kick in the 55th minute. Cem Cire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Tibet İlsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cem Cire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hayri Güleryüz struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Tibet İlsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mecidiyeköy FK. With 80 minutes on the clock, Cihangir Şenal commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 79th minute, one of Mecidiyeköy FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mecidiyeköy FK. After 93 minutes, Mehmet Emre Turay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kastamonuspor 1966 and the Mecidiyeköy FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mecidiyeköy FK booed when Kastamonuspor 1966 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Emre Turay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th match minute, Kastamonuspor 1966 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fazlı Tuncer to maneuver through the defense. Mecidiyeköy FK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
