The supporters of HALICISPOR booed when Samsat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Utku Tuncay didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Mehmet Oğuz Kasım managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Samsat's Balaban Özgur fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 12 minutes into the match, Sermet Çeliker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atalan Sadi. Samsat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sermet Çeliker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute, Alpertunga Tanju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th match minute, HALICISPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeynel Aktay to maneuver through the defense. Nuri Uluçam kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 23 minutes of play, HALICISPOR's Yıldırım Bala made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the match had been going on for 76 minutes, HALICISPOR's Bircan Onural got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Atalan Sadi. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Yıldırım Bala managed to get in a good position for a shot. HALICISPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Yıldırım Bala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atalan Sadi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 87 minutes, Bircan Onural managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HALICISPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bircan Onural was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alpertunga Tanju hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Samsat's Atalan Sadi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Samsat from getting a goal against them. Atalan Sadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yıldırım Bala, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Ejder Dursunali kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched HALICISPOR eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
