After 7 played minutes Akgöller got a freekick which was hit by Halit Ziya Baybora. After 11 played minutes Akgöller got a freekick which was hit by Edip İleri. After a rather tough play, Akgöller's Erol Zeynur got a free kick in the 15th minute. Kayacan Canay's shot from long distance in the 16th minute was not bad at all, but Akgöller's Şeref Sarıkaya knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Kubat Ula managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dinç Algın came out of the goal and Ahmet Nedim Arkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 39 played minutes Akgöller got a freekick which was hit by Halit Ziya Baybora. After recieving a nice pass, Durusu JK's Kayacan Canay tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ahmet Nedim Arkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kubat Ula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kubat Ula was the one to do the kick off. Durusu JK's Kubat Ula got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dinç Algın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Nedim Arkan in the 55th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Ahmet Nedim Arkan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dinç Algın. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Hüseyin Rahmi Yalman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehmet Bilge Ramiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
