The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yeşilyurt FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ahmet Boran Demirman 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Vahit Balkoç in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Deniz Saraç, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Boran Demirman in the 9th minute of play forced Yeşilyurt FC's goalkeeper Deniz Saraç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Özvatan's Arif Memduh Çağlar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Deniz Saraç. Deniz Saraç yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Deniz Saraç made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Vahit Balkoç sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute Arif Memduh Çağlar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deniz Saraç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes, İrfan Üçok mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Özvatan and the Yeşilyurt FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Özvatan got a freekick which was hit by İrfan Üçok. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Emin Oyman in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aybar Naim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arif Memduh Çağlar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Deniz Saraç came out and tried to block the shot, but Arif Memduh Çağlar slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 35th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vahit Balkoç got free with Deniz Saraç in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Arif Memduh Çağlar made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Özvatan's Arif Memduh Çağlar made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Deniz Saraç was left in no man's land by his defense there! Özvatan's İrfan Üçok got his second yellow card of the match in the 58th minute. The referee ordered İrfan Üçok off the ground. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Özvatan fully deserved thier win.
