Aygün Sarı was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aybar Naim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burhan Pekalp in the 62nd minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Özvatan's Hıncal Zorbey tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Aygün Sarı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Boran Demirman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Arif Memduh Çağlar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, Ikizdere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burhan Pekalp to maneuver through the defense. Hıncal Zorbey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aygün Sarı.
