Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mahmut Tengizalp took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Hami Çetinsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Mehmet Emrah Cerme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KIRŞEHİR SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aydin the free kick. After 10 played minutes KIRŞEHİR SK got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Emrah Cerme. After a defensive mix-up in KIRŞEHİR SK's zone, Şinasi Serkut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rıfat Özdinç came out of the goal and Şinasi Serkut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hami Çetinsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rıfat Özdinç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Şinasi Serkut came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Aydin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şinasi Serkut couldn't finish the play. Şinasi Serkut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rıfat Özdinç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Şinasi Serkut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aydin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şinasi Serkut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Aydin's Hami Çetinsu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rıfat Özdinç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hami Çetinsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aydin's Şinasi Serkut got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aytaç Talaş kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Hami Çetinsu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of KIRŞEHİR SK's Rıfat Özdinç. Rıfat Özdinç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Tümer Kunt fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aydin's protests and gave Tümer Kunt a yellow card for diving instead. Tümer Kunt hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hami Çetinsu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Hami Çetinsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şinasi Serkut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Rıfat Özdinç made a huge save. Hami Çetinsu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seyit Süreyya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Hasan Hüseyin İdil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KIRŞEHİR SK's Rıfat Özdinç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hami Çetinsu in the 67th minute of play. Seyit Süreyya scored 1-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hasan Hüseyin İdil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Şinasi Serkuts short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Rıfat Özdinç to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rıfat Özdinç made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Şinasi Serkut sent off a good shot on target. Atalan Özsel charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atalan Özsel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mahmut Tengizalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Aydin failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
