Kudret Enginsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ömür Konguralp kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in XN-220's zone, Sinan Durusan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Ekrem Akata came out of the goal and Sinan Durusan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artaç Oyanalp in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hüseyin Rahmi Yazargil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the game, Kurtuluş SK's Ferit Ruşen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mustafa Ekrem Akata made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 26 minutes into the game, Nizam Erdoğdu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kurtuluş SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XN-220 the free kick. After 26 played minutes Kurtuluş SK got a freekick which was hit by Nizam Erdoğdu. After having played for 29 minutes, Abdulkerim Ağın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XN-220's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulkerim Ağın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Kurtuluş SK's goal looked a bit too open when Artaç Oyanalp came free, but Hüseyin Rahmi Yazargil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferit Ruşen took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mustafa Ekrem Akata. Mustafa Ekrem Akata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 37 minutes into the match, XN-220's goal looked a bit too open when Ferit Ruşen came free, but Mustafa Ekrem Akata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Abdulkerim Ağın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdulkerim Ağın could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Hüseyin Rahmi Yazargil made a huge save. XN-220's Abdulkerim Ağın got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artaç Oyanalp was the one to do the kick off. Baykan Bakırcı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Rahmi Yazargil having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Kurtuluş SK got a freekick which was hit by Nizam Erdoğdu. After some careless play in the XN-220 defense, Sinan Durusan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Ekrem Akata. The XN-220 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Ekrem Akata should have stopped the shot. When Sinan Durusan came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Kurtuluş SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sinan Durusan couldn't finish the play. XN-220's Mustafa Ekrem Akata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferit Ruşen in the 71st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Mustafa Ekrem Akata successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Baykan Bakırcı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
