Aşkın Umay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Numan Hekimhanlı in the 17th minute of play. If Adil Tüzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Bayramören's goal looked a bit too open when Merih Tanver came free, but Güner Ayvazoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Amasyaspor JK booed when Bayramören was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sermet Raşit didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adil Tüzel was the one to do the kick off. Aşkın Umay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adil Tüzel in the 55th minute of the match. Mustafa Numan Hekimhanlıs short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Aşkın Umay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Adil Tüzel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aşkın Umay was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Merih Tanver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Güner Ayvazoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adil Tüzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aşkın Umay having to interfere. Aşkın Umay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adil Tüzel in the 91st minute of the match. Erdem Özdoa, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 98th match minute, Amasyaspor JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Turgut Yalazalp to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute of the match Erdem Özdoa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aşkın Umay skillfully saved the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
