The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Jacob Bürger put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alişan Yumlu. Jacob Bürger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alişan Yumlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacob Bürger in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alişan Yumlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute, Cemal Üstüner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alişan Yumlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The Efespor fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Efespor's Jacob Bürger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Jacob Bürger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alişan Yumlu was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After 28 minutes of play, Efespor's Jacob Bürger made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. With a left leg Alişan Yumlu saved Cinarcik from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Cinarcik's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Bürger came free, but Alişan Yumlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ahmet İlhan Abdulhakimoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cinarcik's protests and gave Ahmet İlhan Abdulhakimoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46thth minute of the game Jacob Bürger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cinarcik's Alişan Yumlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stanyo Popandreev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alişan Yumlu having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacob Bürger made a kick off. Cinarcik's Alişan Yumlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Bürger in the 52nd minute of play. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alişan Yumlu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alişan Yumlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Bürger in the 75th minute of play.
