Tayfun Tacir came out of the goal and Yahya Erşahin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute, Yahya Erşahin made a precise shot to the right of Tayfun Tacir. Genclerbirligi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Hamit İskender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Yahya Erşahin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayfun Tacir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kerimhan Seyfi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hamit İskender took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tayfun Tacir. Tayfun Tacir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The long shot by Refik Arabacıoğlu in the 40th minute really tested Yüksel İcmal's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Muhsin Barkan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Yüksel İcmal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhsin Barkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. A collision led to KöMuR KeNtLi getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ahmet Gökalp Alan hit a great ball. Hamit İskender's late challenge caught a Genclerbirligi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hamit İskender helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Hamit İskender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yüksel İcmal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, KöMuR KeNtLi's goal looked a bit too open when Muhsin Barkan came free, but Yüksel İcmal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Muhsin Barkan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yüksel İcmal was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. KöMuR KeNtLi's Yüksel İcmal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhsin Barkan in the 84th minute of play. Ertaç Ergunalp charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ertaç Ergunalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ertaç Ergunalp kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Dilmen Tümerdem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Saltuk Mertel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muhsin Barkan struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Yüksel İcmal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Genclerbirligi. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KöMuR KeNtLi walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
