The supporters of ADIYAMANSPOR1954 booed when Kastamonu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naci Azimoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of ADIYAMANSPOR1954:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kastamonu:s goal. Göksun Tükelalp shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 18th match minute, ADIYAMANSPOR1954 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sungurhan Elhan to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Afşin Beycan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Deniz Demir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sezer İlkin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Kastamonu's Songurbey Şerefhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Üzeyir Taymaz in the 26th minute of play. ADIYAMANSPOR1954's Deniz Demir proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save ADIYAMANSPOR1954 from getting a goal against them. After 29 played minutes ADIYAMANSPOR1954 got a freekick which was hit by Akil Şahbender. A collision led to Kastamonu getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ahmet Gökalp Yücelay hit a great ball. If Ahmet Oğuz Nuh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asrın Kutkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Songurbey Şerefhan having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Oğuz Nuh was the one to do the kick off. Deniz Demir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Gökalp Yücelay in the 59th minute of the match. ADIYAMANSPOR1954's Ahmet Oğuz Nuh got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as ADIYAMANSPOR1954's Ahmet Oğuz Nuh slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Songurbey Şerefhan. That made the score 1-2 after 70 minutes of play. Deniz Demir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afşin Beycan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76thth minute of the game Afşin Beycan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ADIYAMANSPOR1954's Deniz Demir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmet Oğuz Nuh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Gökalp Yücelay hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afşin Beycan in the 81st minute of play forced ADIYAMANSPOR1954's goalkeeper Deniz Demir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Oğuz Nuh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Songurbey Şerefhan having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, ADIYAMANSPOR1954's Ahmet Oğuz Nuh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Songurbey Şerefhan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ahmet Gökalp Yücelay got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 95 played minutes Kastamonu got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Gökalp Yücelay. The nice shot from Ahmet Oğuz Nuh in the 97thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Songurbey Şerefhan had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The Kastamonu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ADIYAMANSPOR1954 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
