Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Güney İlighan got the match started through his kick off. Gerede SK's Emran Ilıcak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Gerede SK from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Mut getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Yiğit Balamir hit a great ball. Güney İlighan might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hasan Ali Uygur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Güney İlighan ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Mut getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Olcay Adaş hit a great ball. Mut's Hasan Ali Uygur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurtuluş Uygur in the 14th minute of play. Hasan Ali Uygur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Güney İlighan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahman Altıparmak in the 18th minute of play forced Gerede SK's goalkeeper Emran Ilıcak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes, Kurtuluş Uygur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gerede SK and the Mut players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Gerede SK got a freekick which was hit by Kurtuluş Uygur. Hasan Ali Uygur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korkutalp Yağmurdereli in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurtuluş Uygur in the 24th minute of play forced Mut's goalkeeper Hasan Ali Uygur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match, Rahman Altıparmak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emran Ilıcak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Güney İlighan struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Hasan Ali Uygur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gerede SK. Emran Ilıcak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahman Altıparmak in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Güney İlighan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hasan Ali Uygur. Mut's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Güney İlighan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Güney İlighan kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Kurtuluş Uygur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Güney İlighan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hasan Ali Uygur came out and tried to block the shot, but Güney İlighan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 53rd minute. Koray Elfaz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. After 59 played minutes Gerede SK got a freekick which was hit by Koray Elfaz. After having played for 60 minutes, Galip Yelesen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Galip Yelesen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kurtuluş Uygur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hasan Ali Uygur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Mut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olcay Adaş to maneuver through the defense. After 78 minutes of play, Gerede SK's Aykan Recep made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hasan Ali Uygur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kurtuluş Uygur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerede SK's Aykan Recep got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kurtuluş Uygur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hasan Ali Uygur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rahman Altıparmak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerede SK's Oğuz Arısan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vedat Ocak, made in the 95th minute of the game. When the match was over Gerede SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mut throughout the match.
