In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sorgun's goalkeeper Ercüment Onurkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ömür Akad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fetih Oktan, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Cumra's Ahmet Gündüz Akel got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Ahmet Gündüz Akel sped through Sorgun's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ercüment Onurkan. Cumra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şeref Tokcan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. 93 minutes into the match, Ahmet Gündüz Akel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ercüment Onurkan.
