Şeref Tokcan scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kadim Akbel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kubat Fişek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercüment Onurkan having to interfere. After 11 minutes of play, Sorgun's Şeref Tokcan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kadim Akbel was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Şeref Tokcan put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kadim Akbel. Sorgun's Ercüment Onurkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Sorgun from getting a goal against them. Sorgun's Şeref Tokcan got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Kubat Fişek notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Sorgun's Ercüment Onurkan. Ercüment Onurkan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 33 minutes into the game, Sorgun's Okanalp Gazzali nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kadim Akbel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 44th minute, Şeref Tokcan made a precise shot to the right of Kadim Akbel. Bostan Çeltik S.K.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rıza Mensur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Kubat Fişek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bostan Çeltik S.K.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Kubat Fişek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercüment Onurkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Şeref Tokcan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kadim Akbel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şeref Tokcan in the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Bostan Çeltik S.K. booed when Sorgun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şeref Tokcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes Sorgun got a freekick which was hit by Ali Cafer Argün. After a rather tough play, Sorgun's Ali Cafer Argün got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Bostan Çeltik S.K.'s Cemalettin Hazarbeyoğlu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Kadim Akbel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şeref Tokcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Şeref Tokcan came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Sorgun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şeref Tokcan couldn't finish the play. When Sorgun's Şeref Tokcan in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bostan Çeltik S.K.'s goalie prevented a goal. If Şeref Tokcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute, Fetih Oktan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kadim Akbel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. The Sorgun supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sorgun would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
