With a little luck, General Diaz's Kerimhan Çerağ got control of the ball when Ergün Çağkar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th minute, Ergün Çağkar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hakkı Onur Cesur might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kerimhan Çerağ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hakkı Onur Cesur ran back to his position shaking his head. Kerimhan Çerağ made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aktuğ Gerdaneri in the 12th minute. Ahmet Gündüz Akel might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kerimhan Çerağ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Gündüz Akel ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mustafa Arif Temizel during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Mustafa Arif Temizel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 minutes, Şakir Durusoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cumra and the General Diaz players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cumra getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Şakir Durusoy hit a great ball. If Cüneyd Kiram had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Aktuğ Gerdaneri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerimhan Çerağ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kerimhan Çerağ made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ahmet Gündüz Akel sent off a good shot on target. After 24 played minutes Cumra got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Gündüz Akel. 26 minutes into the game, Edip Mutlusoy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kerimhan Çerağ. Edip Mutlusoy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Aktuğ Gerdaneri struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Kerimhan Çerağ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cumra. After a defensive mix-up in General Diaz's zone, Ahmet Gündüz Akel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerimhan Çerağ came out of the goal and Ahmet Gündüz Akel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by General Diaz's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edip Mutlusoy was slow to take the kick. During this time Cumra's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Şakir Durusoy advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 35th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Ahmet Gündüz Akel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cumra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Gündüz Akel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Aktuğ Gerdaneri came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Cumra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aktuğ Gerdaneri couldn't finish the play. Aktuğ Gerdaneri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, General Diaz's goalkeeper Kerimhan Çerağ had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Gündüz Akel. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cüneyd Kiram made a kick off. Hakkı Onur Cesur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Kerimhan Çerağ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hakkı Onur Cesur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kerimhan Çerağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edip Mutlusoy in the 57th minute of the match. General Diaz's Kerimhan Çerağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Gündüz Akel in the 58th minute of play. Hakkı Onur Cesur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The General Diaz fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when General Diaz's Arif Üke looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Ahmet Gündüz Akel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Ahmet Gündüz Akel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cumra's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Gündüz Akel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kerimhan Çerağ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 87 minutes, Aktuğ Gerdaneri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cumra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aktuğ Gerdaneri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kerimhan Çerağ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edip Mutlusoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Cumra's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
