Talha Taceddin kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Teoman Esay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Paşa İpekli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selami İltekin in the 15th minute of play forced BİGASPOR's goalkeeper Paşa İpekli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aydın Çağaçar got free with Bedir Önateş in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lemi Akkaya kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Sürmene's Teoman Esay in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BİGASPOR's goalie prevented a goal. Paşa İpekli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teoman Esay's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. A collision led to BİGASPOR getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Rauf Sehriyar hit a great ball. Teoman Esay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paşa İpekli having to interfere. Bedir Önateş made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Rauf Sehriyar sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, BİGASPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Abdurrahman Neşet came free, but Paşa İpekli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, BİGASPOR's Aydın Çağaçar got a free kick in the 44th minute. The BİGASPOR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sürmene were winning 1-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teoman Esay was the one to do the kick off. Selami İltekin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Paşa İpekli made a huge save. Paşa İpekli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selami İltekin in the 59th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Sürmene got a freekick which was hit by Lemi Akkaya. Bedir Önateş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İskender Münir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bedir Önateş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İskender Münir, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Talha Taceddin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th match minute, BİGASPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Talha Taceddin to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Sürmene's goal looked a bit too open when Rauf Sehriyar came free, but Bedir Önateş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 played minutes Sürmene got a freekick which was hit by Lemi Akkaya. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rauf Sehriyar in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bedir Önateş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teoman Esay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Selami İltekin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Paşa İpekli firmly grabbed it by the left post. Selami İltekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Paşa İpekli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The BİGASPOR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sürmene were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
