Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ömer Rıza Sabri got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute, Suavi Akdeniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tarkan Turcan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sait Altuncuoğlu came out and tried to block the shot, but Tarkan Turcan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Teoman Esay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sait Altuncuoğlu. NiKOMEDiA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teoman Esay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Sait Altuncuoğlu made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Selami İltekin sent off a good shot on target. Sait Altuncuoğlu was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Selami İltekin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Selami İltekin really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The supporters of Sürmene booed when NiKOMEDiA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ömer Rıza Sabri didn't get a good kick on the ball. İzzet İlighan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bedir Önateş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teoman Esay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in NiKOMEDiA FC's zone, Selami İltekin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sait Altuncuoğlu came out of the goal and Selami İltekin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute of the match Battal Gazi Refettin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bedir Önateş showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ömer Rıza Sabri struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Bedir Önateş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NiKOMEDiA FC. Abdurrahman Neşet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Suavi Akdeniz, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teoman Esay was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Sürmene booed when NiKOMEDiA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eralp Ozanalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Teoman Esay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sürmene's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teoman Esay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Selami İltekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Sait Altuncuoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to NiKOMEDiA FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. İzzet İlighan hit a great ball. After some careless play in the NiKOMEDiA FC defense, Abdurrahman Neşet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sait Altuncuoğlu. The NiKOMEDiA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sait Altuncuoğlu should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute Tarkan Turcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sait Altuncuoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, NiKOMEDiA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tarkan Turcan came free, but Sait Altuncuoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Buğra Muhtar in the 80th minute really tested Bedir Önateş's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teoman Esay in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sait Altuncuoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 played minutes Sürmene got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Hafiz Okcun. 87 minutes into the match, NiKOMEDiA FC's Buğra Muhtar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sürmene's Bedir Önateş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Sürmene from getting a goal against them. In the 90th match minute, Sürmene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lemi Akkaya to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Teoman Esay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sait Altuncuoğlu was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Sürmene walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
