When Şamil Teren fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sürmene's protests and gave Şamil Teren a yellow card for diving instead. Selami İltekin struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Oğuz Emir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sürmene. Oğuz Emir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teoman Esay in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Teoman Esay notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Akdamar SK's Oğuz Emir. Oğuz Emir was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Akdamar SK's goalkeeper Oğuz Emir, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 13 minutes of play, Sürmene's Teoman Esay made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oğuz Emir was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute, Nedim Güngör got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Nedim Güngör's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bedir Önateş was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The throw-in from Halit Bayrak in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Akdamar SK's Güntekin Oskay. Nedim Güngör fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedir Önateş having to interfere. Abdulmelik Özbala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedir Önateş having to interfere. If Abdulmelik Özbala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nedim Güngör recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Akdamar SK were awarded a corner. Tuna Rafetoğulları went to the cornerflag to take it. Sürmene's Selami İltekin got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Teoman Esay notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Akdamar SK's Oğuz Emir. Oğuz Emir was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teoman Esay in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oğuz Emir prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Teoman Esay made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Akdamar SK's Güntekin Oskay got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teoman Esay in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oğuz Emir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bedir Önateş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nedim Güngör in the 62nd minute of the match. Oğuz Emir was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Abdurrahman Neşet. Sürmene's Bedir Önateş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuna Rafetoğulları in the 75th minute of play. Akdamar SK's attack was well implemented in the 76th minute, but when Nedim Güngör was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. If Nedim Güngör had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Teoman Esay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Akdamar SK's Nedim Güngör sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bedir Önateş narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Abdulmelik Özbala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Akdamar SK booed when Sürmene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şamil Teren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute of the match, Abdurrahman Neşet got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oğuz Emir was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Sürmene supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sürmene would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
