After a rather tough play, Revenge Special Team's Enis Behiç Erem got a free kick in the 9th minute. Hasan Tahsin Şahinalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tugay Saltuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 15th minute, Tugay Saltuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Batıray Sanat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Yağızhan Özdilmaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GALATASARAY SK's Tugay Saltuk got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genco Açıkel in the 22nd minute of play forced Revenge Special Team's goalkeeper Hasan Tahsin Şahinalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tugay Saltuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Numan Pala fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Revenge Special Team's protests and gave Numan Pala a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Revenge Special Team got a freekick which was hit by Numan Pala. Tugay Saltuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genco Açıkel to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Revenge Special Team's Şerafettin Fırıncı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yağızhan Özdilmaç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Batıray Sanat in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yağızhan Özdilmaç saved GALATASARAY SK from getting behind. After some careless play in the GALATASARAY SK defense, Şerafettin Fırıncı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yağızhan Özdilmaç. The GALATASARAY SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yağızhan Özdilmaç should have stopped the shot. Numan Pala was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of GALATASARAY SK booed when Revenge Special Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Numan Pala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tugay Saltuk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hasan Tahsin Şahinalp having to make a save. If Şerafettin Fırıncı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
