Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Genco Açıkel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Genco Açıkel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baransel Kaçan having to interfere. The supporters of Cizre SK booed when GALATASARAY SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Refik Oğuzata didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY SK's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Hamdi Satıkbuğra came free, but Yağızhan Özdilmaç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Mehmet Hamdi Satıkbuğra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yağızhan Özdilmaç, passed just outside the right post. Tugay Saltuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genco Açıkel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Baransel Kaçan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes in the game, Mümtaz Ragıp fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Yağızhan Özdilmaç having to interfere. GALATASARAY SK's Yağızhan Özdilmaç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY SK from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY SK's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Hamdi Satıkbuğra came free, but Yağızhan Özdilmaç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mümtaz Ragıp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yağızhan Özdilmaç having to interfere. If Mehmet Hamdi Satıkbuğra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yağızhan Özdilmaç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mümtaz Ragıp in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Hamdi Satıkbuğra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Gökhun Tun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Mehmet Hamdi Satıkbuğra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY SK's İzzet Ozanalp got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Mehmet Hamdi Satıkbuğra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Yağızhan Özdilmaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Hamdi Satıkbuğra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY SK's zone, Mümtaz Ragıp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yağızhan Özdilmaç came out of the goal and Mümtaz Ragıp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baransel Kaçan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genco Açıkel's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Mümtaz Ragıp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
