Cicos Lions's Aydemir İlkay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahadır Temircan in the 5th minute of play. Birkan Nebi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Aydemir İlkay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birkan Nebi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Artaç Kose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğan Aksoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doğa Niğdeli was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 24th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rodriguez's Doğan Aksoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Affan İslamoğlu in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Rodriguez's goal looked a bit too open when Affan İslamoğlu came free, but Doğan Aksoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Artaç Kose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğan Aksoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodriguez's Doğan Aksoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artaç Kose in the 42nd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Doğan Aksoy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Artaç Kose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Affan İslamoğlu struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Doğan Aksoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cicos Lions. 63 minutes into the match, Rodriguez's goal looked a bit too open when Artaç Kose came free, but Doğan Aksoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artaç Kose in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doğan Aksoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Affan İslamoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Doğan Aksoy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Affan İslamoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. Affan İslamoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğan Aksoy having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Cicos Lions's Artaç Kose sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Doğan Aksoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Cicos Lions's Alper Rafet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Doğan Aksoy. That made the score 0-2 after 92 minutes of play. The Cicos Lions supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cicos Lions would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
