Gürbüz Tarhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celal Garipbaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kazan's Gürbüz Tarhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celal Garipbaş in the 71st minute of play. Rahmi Özoğuz's late challenge caught a Feke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rahmi Özoğuz helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Kazan got a freekick which was hit by Rahmi Özoğuz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mücahit Boğatekin got free with Tanju Derviş in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Kazan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6.
