An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Oğuz Balcı in the 16th minute of play forced İSTANBUL FK.'s goalkeeper Songurbey Toydeniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th match minute, İSTANBUL FK. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkan Muhsin to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Alkan Muhsin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. İSTANBUL FK.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elmas the free kick. After 18 played minutes İSTANBUL FK. got a freekick which was hit by Alkan Muhsin. 23 minutes into the match, İSTANBUL FK.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Oğuz Balcı came free, but Songurbey Toydeniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Ali Erdem Alkın got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Elmas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Lemi Berksoy scored to the left of an out of position Ali Şahap, making the score, 1-0. In the 31st minute Ali Erdem Alkın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Şahap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Erdem Alkın in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Şahap prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ali Erdem Alkın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
