When Merter FK's Göktan Usman in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Şukela Team's goalie prevented a goal. 6 minutes into the match, Şukela Team's goal looked a bit too open when Gökberk Muhsin came free, but Erdem Mustafali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erdem Mustafali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökberk Muhsin in the 8th minute of play. Merter FK's Göktan Usman got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute Göktan Usman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdem Mustafali saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Göktan Usman came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Merter FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göktan Usman couldn't finish the play. Erdem Mustafali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökberk Muhsin in the 20th minute of play. Paşa Ali Eryavuz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Sabri Emekli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Göktan Usman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erdem Mustafali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökberk Muhsin in the 27th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Emir Veli got free with Kılıçhan Hinoğlu in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Şukela Team's Erdem Mustafali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göktan Usman in the 31st minute of play. Merter FK's Gökberk Muhsin got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Göktan Usman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merter FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Göktan Usman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erdem Mustafali breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 38 minutes, Sabri Emekli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Şukela Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabri Emekli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th match minute, Merter FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paşa Ali Eryavuz to maneuver through the defense. Alper Murat was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökberk Muhsin in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erdem Mustafali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Gökberk Muhsin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Göktan Usman to strike the kick off in the second half. Gökberk Muhsin came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Erdem Mustafali could save by the left post. Kılıçhan Hinoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Emir Veli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sabri Emekli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erdem Mustafali was a little too slow when Gökberk Muhsin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göktan Usman in the 72nd minute of play forced Şukela Team's goalkeeper Erdem Mustafali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şukela Team's Erdem Mustafali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göktan Usman in the 73rd minute of play. Tolga Omay hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Erdem Mustafali successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hayyam Budaklı's late challenge caught a Merter FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hayyam Budaklı helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Şukela Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayyam Budaklı to maneuver through the defense. Gökberk Muhsin came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Erdem Mustafali could save by the left post. If Gökberk Muhsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Göktan Usman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Merter FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Merter FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
