Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Göktan Usman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Göktan Usman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Oğuzkan Dilşad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kılıçhan Hinoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurtuluş Saraçoğlu in the 7th minute of the match. Nazil Nurbay's late challenge caught a Sorgun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nazil Nurbay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Merter FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazil Nurbay to maneuver through the defense. Oğuzkan Dilşad made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Gökberk Muhsin sent off a good shot on target. After 11 played minutes Sorgun got a freekick which was hit by Ali Cengiz İstemihan. After some careless play in the Sorgun defense, Göktan Usman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oğuzkan Dilşad. The Sorgun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oğuzkan Dilşad should have stopped the shot. Kurtuluş Saraçoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vehdi Kuray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kılıçhan Hinoğlu having to interfere. Göktan Usman kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Merter FK defense, Vehdi Kuray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kılıçhan Hinoğlu. The Merter FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kılıçhan Hinoğlu should have stopped the shot. Sorgun's Kurtuluş Saraçoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sorgun's Ahmet Danış Buğrahan got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sorgun's Vehdi Kuray got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurtuluş Saraçoğlu in the 28th minute of play forced Merter FK's goalkeeper Kılıçhan Hinoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurtuluş Saraçoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vehdi Kuray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kılıçhan Hinoğlu having to interfere. Sorgun's Oğuzkan Dilşad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göktan Usman in the 35th minute of play. Vehdi Kuray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kılıçhan Hinoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sorgun's Oğuzkan Dilşad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Sorgun from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Merter FK's zone, Vehdi Kuray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kılıçhan Hinoğlu came out of the goal and Vehdi Kuray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Vehdi Kuray scored 1-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kılıçhan Hinoğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göktan Usman in the 63rd minute of play forced Sorgun's goalkeeper Oğuzkan Dilşad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oğuzkan Dilşad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göktan Usman in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes in the game, Kurtuluş Saraçoğlu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kılıçhan Hinoğlu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Merter FK's zone, Vehdi Kuray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kılıçhan Hinoğlu came out of the goal and Vehdi Kuray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olgun Baykal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 72 played minutes Merter FK got a freekick which was hit by Nazil Nurbay. Oğuzkan Dilşad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Göktan Usman went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Kılıçhan Hinoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Cengiz İstemihan in the 79th minute of play. Gökberk Muhsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Oğuzkan Dilşad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Mehmet Halis Akkoç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merter FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sorgun the free kick. Oğuzkan Dilşad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göktan Usman, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When Merter FK's Gökberk Muhsin in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sorgun's goalie prevented a goal. Merter FK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sorgun had controlled the match.
