Ali Haydar Pekiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Emre Tunçhan in the 19th minute of the match. Ali Haydar Pekiner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hakkı Kenan Semi's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Mehmet Emre Tunçhan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Horasan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Suhut JK's zone, Mehmet Emre Tunçhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Haydar Pekiner came out of the goal and Mehmet Emre Tunçhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eralp Abay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cevdet Tezkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alpertunga Oyalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Hafız Paye hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mehmet Emre Tunçhan to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes, Abdurrahman Razi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Horasan and the Suhut JK players grew even worse after the yellow card.
