After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Ali Faruk Yaslı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Genesis's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Faruk Yaslı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aral Yağızkurt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Kerimhan Sinan came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Genesis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kerimhan Sinan couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kerimhan Sinan in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aral Yağızkurt saved Kutup Yıldızı FK from getting behind. Aral Yağızkurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Faruk Yaslı in the 11th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nazmi Erdönmez during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nazmi Erdönmez hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Kutup Yıldızı FK's Uğur Birhan in action when he in the 14th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 19 played minutes Genesis got a freekick which was hit by Dursun Tükel. Neşat Erkılıç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eşref Ezelhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Gökçe Özcam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Neşat Erkılıç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kerimhan Sinan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aral Yağızkurt having to interfere. Ali Faruk Yaslı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neşat Erkılıç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eşref Ezelhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Neşat Erkılıç made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Gökçe Özcam sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, Gökçe Özcam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Neşat Erkılıç. Genesis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gökçe Özcam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Kutup Yıldızı FK's Aral Yağızkurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerimhan Sinan in the 38th minute of play. Genesis's attack was well implemented in the 41st minute, but when Kerimhan Sinan was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Faruk Yaslı to make the kick off. Neşat Erkılıç came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kutup Yıldızı FK's Eşref Ezelhan. But to his dismay, Eşref Ezelhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 60 played minutes Kutup Yıldızı FK got a freekick which was hit by Uğur Birhan. Ali Güralp Bakır charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Güralp Bakır the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kutup Yıldızı FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Kutup Yıldızı FK's Aral Yağızkurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Faruk Yaslı in the 65th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Kutup Yıldızı FK got a freekick which was hit by Uğur Birhan. Genesis's Neşat Erkılıç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eşref Ezelhan in the 71st minute of play. Gökçe Özcam kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Kerimhan Sinan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Kutup Yıldızı FK's Aral Yağızkurt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Kutup Yıldızı FK from getting a goal against them. Aral Yağızkurt was a little too slow when Ali Faruk Yaslı got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 2-2.
