Güney Bozbora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulaş Taşcıoğlu's late challenge caught a Celtik FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulaş Taşcıoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Ulaş Taşcıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Göktuğ Nesip during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hacettepe SK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ahmet Göktuğ Nesip hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Gazi Cangiray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergen Pektaşi was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Hacettepe SK's zone, Güney Bozbora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergen Pektaşi came out of the goal and Güney Bozbora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergen Pektaşi was a little too slow when Gazi Cangiray got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. 35 minutes into the match, Hacettepe SK's goal looked a bit too open when Gazi Cangiray came free, but Sergen Pektaşi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gazi Cangiray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Celtik FK booed when Hacettepe SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Göktuğ Nesip didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 52nd match minute, Celtik FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akil Baycan to maneuver through the defense. Bahadır Yazıcı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Cüneyt Ezgü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56thth minute of the game Gazi Cangiray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hacettepe SK's Sergen Pektaşi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sergen Pektaşi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güney Bozbora, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Güney Bozbora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the game, Güney Bozbora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Sergen Pektaşi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Güney Bozbora put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sergen Pektaşi. Sergen Pektaşi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Güney Bozbora's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Sergen Pektaşi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkant Çağlar in the 79th minute of play. Gazi Cangiray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Sergen Pektaşi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergen Pektaşi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gazi Cangiray's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Müfit Canol's late challenge caught a Celtik FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Müfit Canol helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hacettepe SK's Müfit Canol got a free kick in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Celtik FK's Güney Bozbora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergen Pektaşi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gazi Cangiray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Güney Bozbora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celtik FK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
