With a couple of smart ball manuevers Habib Himmet in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Akın Onar saved 10un Takımı from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habib Himmet in the 19th minute of play forced 10un Takımı's goalkeeper Akın Onar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ferit Tükelalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ziya Onur Aksakal fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elbeyli's protests and gave Ziya Onur Aksakal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Elbeyli's Ziya Onur Aksakal got a free kick in the 27th minute. Ferit Tükelalp kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 34thth minute. Though ot was a great shot 10un Takımı's keeper Akın Onar was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Akın Onar stood somewhat misplaced when Ferit Tükelalp came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. With a little luck, 10un Takımı's Akın Onar got control of the ball when Ferit Tükelalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferit Tükelalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Akın Onar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Türkeş Mukerrem was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elbeyli's goalkeeper Bayındır Mehmet Uçbay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Elbeyli's Habib Himmet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Akın Onar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 63rd match minute, 10un Takımı was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sertaç Baykam to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Habib Himmet during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in 10un Takımı's zone, Ferit Tükelalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akın Onar came out of the goal and Ferit Tükelalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elbeyli's Habib Himmet got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute Habib Himmet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Akın Onar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferit Tükelalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akın Onar having to interfere.
