Spectators: 7286 (Terracing: 5467, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yahya Kerem started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yerdeki Yıldızlar's goalkeeper Ozan Akbilge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vecdet Nevruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Arif Çağkar's late challenge caught a Kocasinan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Arif Çağkar helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Yerdeki Yıldızlar getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ahmet Arif Çağkar hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Cüneyd Canay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kocasinan's supporters rose to their feet, but Cüneyd Canay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ozan Akbilge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Vecdet Nevruz came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Kocasinan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vecdet Nevruz couldn't finish the play. Akın Ceceli kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Vecdet Nevruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vecdet Nevruz scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ozan Akbilge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Kocasinan getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Şensoy Hasankeyf hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes Yerdeki Yıldızlar got a freekick which was hit by Sefa Kazakhan. In the 30th minute Vecdet Nevruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ozan Akbilge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yerdeki Yıldızlar's Akın Ceceli got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ozan Akbilge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cüneyd Canay's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes Yerdeki Yıldızlar got a freekick which was hit by Sebati Adışanlı. Vecdet Nevruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Yahya Kerem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kocasinan's Ant Akdoğ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kocasinan's Ant Akdoğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arda Göksel Şevki in the 57th minute of play. Cüneyd Canay struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Ozan Akbilge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kocasinan. In the 62nd minute, Atabek Binalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ozan Akbilge acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Atabek Binalp. In the 67th minute, Vecdet Nevruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ozan Akbilge was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ant Akdoğ didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arda Göksel Şevki went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Kocasinan's zone, Yahya Kerem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ant Akdoğ came out of the goal and Yahya Kerem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ant Akdoğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arda Göksel Şevki, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Vecdet Nevruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kocasinan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vecdet Nevruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Kocasinan's Cüneyd Canay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ozan Akbilge. That made the score 1-5 after 95 minutes of play. Kocasinan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
