After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Habib Himmet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elbeyli's supporters rose to their feet, but Habib Himmet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davut Ertüze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Tophane's Kuldar Traat got a free kick in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Habib Himmet in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davut Ertüze saved Tophane from getting behind. Tophane's Davut Ertüze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Himmet in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tophane's Ulaş Şahsar got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Abdulkadir Hastimur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habib Himmet in the 36th minute of play forced Tophane's goalkeeper Davut Ertüze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eutor Arraya made a kick off. Davut Ertüze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferit Tükelalp in the 62nd minute of the match. Tophane's Davut Ertüze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habib Himmet in the 63rd minute of play. Ahmet Hafiz Batıkan's late challenge caught a Tophane's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
