Genesis's Battal Gazi Zümer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nurettin Kambay in the 12th minute of play. Behiç Yörükoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aras Işıldar hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Battal Gazi Zümer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İlmi Boğataş, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Afşar Hekimbaşı kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Battal Gazi Zümer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayvaz Özercan in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Genesis booed when Tonya United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. İsmet Ömer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Nurettin Kambay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Battal Gazi Zümer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Genesis's goal looked a bit too open when Ayvaz Özercan came free, but Battal Gazi Zümer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Afşar Hekimbaşı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remzi İltemur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afşar Hekimbaşı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. İsmet Ömer's late challenge caught a Genesis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İsmet Ömer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tonya United F.C.'s İsmet Ömer got a free kick in the 51st minute. Afşar Hekimbaşı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 97th minute, Yavuz Sebil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Battal Gazi Zümer came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Tonya United F.C.'s Ayvaz Özercan. But to his dismay, Ayvaz Özercan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Tonya United F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
