The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Tonya United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Oğuzalp Pekin came free, but Remzi İltemur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 6 minutes, Lemi Orhon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Türkoglu JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lemi Orhon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute, İsmet Ömer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 played minutes, Türkoglu JK's Süruri As shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Remzi İltemur came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Türkoglu JK reached it. Tonya United F.C.'s Remzi İltemur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oğuzalp Pekin in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Oğuzalp Pekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remzi İltemur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Türkoglu JK's Lemi Orhon got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nurettin Kambay in the 24th minute of play forced Türkoglu JK's goalkeeper Halil Can Nafiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Tonya United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlmi Boğataş to maneuver through the defense. Oğuzalp Pekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Ayvaz Özercan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Halil Can Nafiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Nurettin Kambay made the kick off in the second half. Türkoglu JK's Oğuzalp Pekin got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Çağan Saru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Turgay Çelen kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Türkoglu JK booed when Tonya United F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayvaz Özercan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Tonya United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lemi Orhon came free, but Remzi İltemur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lemi Orhon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Remzi İltemur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lemi Orhon came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Türkoglu JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lemi Orhon couldn't finish the play. When Güralp Hepyener fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Türkoglu JK's protests and gave Güralp Hepyener a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, Türkoglu JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güralp Hepyener to maneuver through the defense. Tonya United F.C.'s İlmi Boğataş couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Türkoglu JK. In the 93rd minute, Lemi Orhon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oğuzalp Pekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remzi İltemur having to interfere. Tonya United F.C. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Türkoglu JK had controlled the match.
