The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sefa Soysaldı in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birant Usman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Birant Usman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ender Kamaci, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Hamdi Tanbolat made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Songurhan Berkkan sent off a good shot on target. Birant Usman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sefa Soysaldı in the 16th minute of the match. When Songurhan Berkkan fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored sisli's protests and gave Songurhan Berkkan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, sisli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Songurhan Berkkan to maneuver through the defense. Merinos JK's Ahmet Açıkalın couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for sisli. Enver Akçal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Hamdi Tanbolat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. sisli's Birant Usman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ender Kamaci in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Merinos JK's Aykutalp Özcebe got a free kick in the 35th minute. Aybars Taşkın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Birant Usman made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ender Kamaci sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Merinos JK booed when sisli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songurhan Berkkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th match minute, sisli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Egemen Ayçetin to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Merinos JK's Ahmet Açıkalın tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Merinos JK's Sefa Soysaldı got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in sisli's zone, Sefa Soysaldı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birant Usman came out of the goal and Sefa Soysaldı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Acar Horasan hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ender Kamaci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merinos JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ender Kamaci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birant Usman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to sisli getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Songurhan Berkkan hit a great ball. Birant Usman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sefa Soysaldı's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Hamdi Tanbolat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enver Akçal in the 80th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sefa Soysaldı in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
