Tolga Muharrem might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Cengiz Afgan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tolga Muharrem ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayındır Mehmet Şahin in the 13th minute of play forced Konyaspor SK's goalkeeper Bilal Şehzat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Tolga Muharrem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Konyaspor SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tolga Muharrem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Güral Akyazıcıoğlu in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bilal Şehzat saved Konyaspor SK from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Muhsin Özdağ notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Konyaspor SK's Bilal Şehzat. Bilal Şehzat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Muhsin Özdağ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bilal Şehzat having to interfere. Alişan Avcıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ali Cengiz Afgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Cengiz Afgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolga Muharrem in the 36th minute of play. Bilal Şehzat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güral Akyazıcıoğlu in the 45th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Güral Akyazıcıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kıymalı Makarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Güral Akyazıcıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bilal Şehzat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Konyaspor SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kıymalı Makarna were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Güral Akyazıcıoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kıymalı Makarna's Vecdet Özdek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bilal Şehzat in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bilal Şehzat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güral Akyazıcıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Muhsin Özdağ could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Bilal Şehzat made a huge save. Muhsin Özdağ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Bilal Şehzat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güral Akyazıcıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bilal Şehzat came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Kıymalı Makarna's Muhsin Özdağ. But to his dismay, Muhsin Özdağ quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alişan Avcıoğlu struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ali Cengiz Afgan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Konyaspor SK. In the 74th minute Alişan Avcıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Cengiz Afgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Konyaspor SK's zone, Güral Akyazıcıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bilal Şehzat came out of the goal and Güral Akyazıcıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
