Spectators: 7304 (Terracing: 5479, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Güral Akyazıcıoğlu started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, SAMSUNSPOR's Reşit Sayar got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 9thth minute of the game Oktay Ömür who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kıymalı Makarna's Ali Cengiz Afgan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kıymalı Makarna's zone, Eşref Şimşek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Cengiz Afgan came out of the goal and Eşref Şimşek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Bilge Kocakalp during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes Kıymalı Makarna got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Bilge Kocakalp. Oktay Ömür's late challenge caught a Kıymalı Makarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oktay Ömür helped the player get up and apologised. Oktay Ömür kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güral Akyazıcıoğlu in the 19th minute of play forced SAMSUNSPOR's goalkeeper Şerif Kılıçaslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oktay Ömür received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ali Cengiz Afgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eşref Şimşek succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 41st playminute. Muhsin Özdağ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Şerif Kılıçaslan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oktay Ömür to strike the kick off in the second half. Eşref Şimşek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Cengiz Afgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eşref Şimşek in the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Kıymalı Makarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Orhan Ünaldi to maneuver through the defense. Ali Cengiz Afgan came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by SAMSUNSPOR's Eşref Şimşek. But to his dismay, Eşref Şimşek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Oktay Ömür hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes Kıymalı Makarna got a freekick which was hit by Muhsin Özdağ. Ali Cengiz Afgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oktay Ömür in the 90th minute of play. Mustafa Orhan Ünaldi charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mustafa Orhan Ünaldi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, Kıymalı Makarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Orhan Ünaldi to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, SAMSUNSPOR's Volkan Filiz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. There was no doubt that SAMSUNSPOR were the better team. SAMSUNSPOR's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
