Sadettin Ateş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceyhan Kaçkar in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Yakut Çelikhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Güral Akkoç charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Güral Akkoç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ahmet Bülent Özgurel hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Selami Utman in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Emre Piruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Yakut Çelikhan made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Karayazi's Kandemir Cansal got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ceyhan Kaçkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceyhan Kaçkar struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Sadettin Ateş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karayazi. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Vefik Acabay couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Karayazi's goal looked a bit too open when Yakut Çelikhan came free, but Mehmet Emre Piruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match Refik Saner sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sadettin Ateş skillfully saved the ball.
