Spectators: 7234 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when İzzettin Dağtekin kicked off to start the match. 10 minutes into the game, Necip Ortaçgil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tokatspor SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dardanelspor the free kick. After 10 played minutes Tokatspor SK got a freekick which was hit by Necip Ortaçgil. When İzzettin Dağtekin came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Tokatspor SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İzzettin Dağtekin couldn't finish the play. Alim Acarbay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Mehmet Hakkı Akçay made a huge save. Arif Egemen Akdoğ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Hakkı Akçay having to interfere. Mustafa Orhan Öktuğ kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 34th minute İzzettin Dağtekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Resulhan Ruzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Egemen Akdoğ in the 37th minute of play forced Tokatspor SK's goalkeeper Mehmet Hakkı Akçay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Arif Egemen Akdoğ fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mehmet Hakkı Akçay, passed just outside the right post. Alim Acarbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Hakkı Akçay having to interfere. Arif Egemen Akdoğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Hakkı Akçay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Egemen Akdoğ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arif Egemen Akdoğ stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Alim Acarbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kutlualp Eroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes of play, Dardanelspor's Alim Acarbay made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Hakkı Akçay was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Tokatspor SK booed when Dardanelspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salih Hikmettin didn't get a good kick on the ball. İzzettin Dağtekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Resulhan Ruzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Kutlualp Eroğlu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dardanelspor's Resulhan Ruzi. Resulhan Ruzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute, İzzettin Dağtekin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Resulhan Ruzi came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Tokatspor SK's Kutlualp Eroğlu. But to his dismay, Kutlualp Eroğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Kutlualp Eroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Resulhan Ruzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute İzzettin Dağtekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Resulhan Ruzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Kutlualp Eroğlu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If İzzettin Dağtekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the match, Dardanelspor's goalkeeper Resulhan Ruzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kutlualp Eroğlu. After having played for 96 minutes, Necip Ortaçgil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tokatspor SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Necip Ortaçgil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
