The referee ignored Palandöken Kartalları's protests and gave Duman Sayman a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Şerif Vasfi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ahlat's supporters rose to their feet, but Şerif Vasfi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Songurhan Saffet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Palandöken Kartalları's Duman Sayman got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Songurhan Saffet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şerif Vasfi in the 16th minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, Ahlat's Yüksel Atlıoğlu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Songurhan Saffet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aytek Rusuhi kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Hasan Tahsin Karakaya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Songurhan Saffet made a huge save. Şerif Vasfi might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Songurhan Saffet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Şerif Vasfi ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahlat's Semail Yelesen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fahrettin Değirmencioğlu in the 86th minute of play. Ahlat played a much better game than Palandöken Kartalları and deserved their victory. The Palandöken Kartalları players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
