After 6 played minutes RiverPlate got a freekick which was hit by Armağan Günaydın. After a rather tough play, RiverPlate's Kayacan Hidayettin got a free kick in the 9th minute. Akay Uçanay succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 11th playminute. RiverPlate's Armağan Günaydın got his second yellow card of the match in the 17th minute. The referee ordered Armağan Günaydın off the ground. The supporters of Zaiross FC booed when RiverPlate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armağan Günaydın didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zafer Revnak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cemalettin Çelik having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zafer Revnak in the 31st minute of play forced Zaiross FC's goalkeeper Cemalettin Çelik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zafer Revnak fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RiverPlate's protests and gave Zafer Revnak a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes RiverPlate got a freekick which was hit by Zafer Revnak. RiverPlate's Ant Tutkun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulhamit Kadrettin in the 39th minute of play. Akay Uçanay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RiverPlate's Ant Tutkun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save RiverPlate from getting a goal against them.

Zafer Revnak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Cemalettin Çelik made a huge save. Abdulhamit Kadrettin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ant Tutkun having to make a save. Akay Uçanay might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ant Tutkun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Akay Uçanay ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute, Zaiross FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zafer Revnak fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gazi Cengaver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cemalettin Çelik having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Hakkı Devrim Seyban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Zaiross FC's Abdulhamit Kadrettin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ant Tutkun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Abdulhamit Kadrettin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zaiross FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdulhamit Kadrettin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ant Tutkun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zafer Revnak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cemalettin Çelik having to interfere. Zafer Revnak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute Rıfat Ergönül shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ant Tutkun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Kayacan Hidayettin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RiverPlate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zaiross FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, RiverPlate's Kayacan Hidayettin got a free kick in the 88th minute. Akay Uçanay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ant Tutkun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reşat Özakan's late challenge caught a RiverPlate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reşat Özakan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Zaiross FC's Reşat Özakan got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, RiverPlate's Hakan Taşan tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
